In 2009, unexplained product shortages and back orders led to the unavailability of Armour Thyroid®, Nature-Throid™ and Westhroid™. This situation compromised the health and well-being of our hypothyroid guests who were unable to fill their prescriptions for desiccated thyroid. Hotze Pharmacy worked hand in hand with our guests’ prescribing physicians to provide a solution – compounded desiccated thyroid!
